本次会议聚焦《IEEE P2413.2 Standard for a Reference Architecture for Power Distribution Internet of Things (PDIoT)》,围绕架构体系的深化完善及测试标准的立项启动展开深入研讨,为全球新一代智能配电网络的建设奠定技术基础与标准框架。

IEEE P2413.2标准是在全球广泛认可的《IEEE 2413: Standard for an Architectural Framework for the Internet of Things》的基础上制定,旨在为电力配电系统构建统一、可扩展、跨平台互操作的物联网参考架构。

On June 18-19, Willfar Information was invited to attend the in-person meeting of the IEEE P2413.2 International Standard Working Group held in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting focused on the IEEE P2413.2 Standard for a Reference Architecture for Power Distribution Internet of Things (PDIoT). Discussions centered on refining the architecture framework and initiating testing standards, laying the technical foundation and standard framework for building the next generation of global smart power distribution networks.

As one of China's core representative enterprises in the smart grid and energy IoT sectors, Mu Li, General Manager of the International Smart Grid Business Division, and Lingji Zeng, Director of the International Market Department of Willfar Information, represented the company at the meeting. They participated in the IEEE P2413.2 Working Group Meeting forum, engaging in in-depth exchanges with experts from standards organizations, research institutions, and major international power companies on the global application practices and technological evolution of PDIoT.

The IEEE P2413.2 standard is developed based on the widely recognized IEEE 2413: Standard for an Architectural Framework for the Internet of Things. It aims to establish a unified, scalable, and cross-platform interoperable IoT reference architecture for power distribution systems. The standard proposes an architectural model consisting of: the Terminal Layer, Communication Network Layer, Edge Computing Layer, and IoT Cloud-based Application Layer. It systematically describes the interaction mechanisms between sensors and actuators, communication interfaces, edge nodes, and cloud data centers. The standard emphasizes enabling real-time perception, intelligent decision-making, and coordinated control of distribution networks through microservice architecture, cloud-native platforms, artificial intelligence, and big data technologies. This supports the smooth migration from traditional distribution systems to open, service-oriented PDIoT platforms.

This meeting coincided with CIRED, a major global event in the power distribution industry, further strengthening the synergy between IEEE standards and international engineering application scenarios. Willfar Information will continue to be guided by a global vision and technological innovation, actively participating in international standards development. The company will collaborate with partners to accelerate the global evolution of power distribution networks towards digitalized, intelligent, and low-carbon development.
